Description

Sanatron Force Decay Leak Testing System is an instrument that will enable you to detect and quantify a leak via the force decay method. This instrument is a single channel instrument that enables you to test one specimen at a time. A force decay is a qualitative and a quantitative leak detection method.

The way a force decay test works is by inflating the specimen. This inflation is done by internally pressurizing the specimen through a pressurized air line or placing the specimen inside a vacuum chamber, pulling a vacuum, and generating a pressure differential. The pressurized specimen will swell up and apply force to the transducer. This transducer will measure the force applied and monitor the change in force over time. If there is not change in force, this means that there are no leaks since the pressure inside the specimen stayed constant. On the other hand, if the force applied by the sample decreased over a specified amount of time, you have a leak, this is because the air escaped through a leak path and hence decreased the pressure inside the sample which in turn decreased the force applied to a sample.

Please note that this instrument is not intended to be purchased as a standalone item but rather as a part of a whole leak testing assembly. Feel free to contact us to find out how you can implement a leak testing instrument into your quality control program.

Vacuum Degassing Systems
Vacuum Degassing Systems enable you to remove trapped gas inside your liquids - generally, epoxies. Degassing is a vital part of any two part or more mixing process, this includes but is not limited to epoxy, pharmaceutical mixing, potting, recipe creation. A vacuum degassing system consists of a vacuum pump, connection hardware (includes filters and traps) and a vacuum chamber.
Roots Blower Vacuum Pumps
Roots Blower Vacuum Pumps are used when a large amount of Volumetric Airflow is Required. Root Vacuum Pumps cannot operate independently and must be used in conjunction with another roughing pump such as Rotary Vane Pump or Piston Pump. The advantages of a Roots Vacuum Pump is that the Pumping Speed can be increased by a factor of 5 up to a factor of 10; meaning that a 20 CFM Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump can now be boosted to pump 120 CFM!
Our Work: Bubble Leak Testing System with a Dry off Sink used for Leak Testing Large Bags
How do you leak test Large Food Bags? This is the same question a Large Food and Beverage Processor had asked themselves because they had need for a bubble leak testing system which could be used to detect presence of leaks in their large bags. Their requirements were to test several sized bags with the largest bag being 24 inches Wide by 12 inch Deep by 9 inches High. In addition to the bubble leak testing system, they also needed a way to dry the bags after the test.
