Can you add a Sub-D connector to the vacuum chamber?

Yes, you can. We offer several options when it comes to your Subminiature D connectors. We generally use off-the-shelf Subminiature D vacuum feedthroughs which can be installed onto the walls of your vacuum chamber.

The Sub-D connectors are either double sided meaning that you can connect your plugs from the outside (ambient) and inside (vacuum). Another option we offer is connector on the outside and wires on the inside.

The Sub-D connectors are installed via a NW40KF, NW50KF, Conflat, or ISO Port. Depending on the port size, you can house one or two Sub-D connectors. The number of pins you can choose from is 9, 15, 25, 50, or 100 pins.
