Description

Altitude Simulation System, made by Sanatron, fully setup and ready to go. This Altitude simulation system will allow you to simulate altitudes inside the vacuum chamber up to 45 miles / milliTorr (25 micron). A full Turn-Key System included are a Front Door Loading Crystalline Clear Acrylic Vacuum Chamber, cube 18 inch inside dimensions, a 7 CFM rotary vane vacuum pump, an altitude simulation controller, all sitting on a table frame that includes four lockable swivel casters.

This system will enable you to simulate any altitude up to 45 miles. (NOTE: If you need higher altitudes, we can make that happen, contact us) The mode of operation is that you close the vacuum chamber lid, clamp it, set your attitude, press start and watch the vacuum pump ramp up the vacuum inside the chamber. Once the set altitude has been reached, the vacuum valve will close, and the chamber will hold this altitude for as long as needed. You also have the ability to program your recipe and set and hold several altitudes.

Many of our altitude simulation systems are customized to our clients specifications and requirements. Therefore, if you need a vacuum feedthrough, or if you need to run thermocouples into the chamber, please contact us and we can make that happen. Furthermore, anything on this system can be customized so be sure to let us know how we can help you build your system.

Some of our Popular Items

Our clients prefer to work with us because we are Experts in Vacuum Science and Technology. Check out some of our other items we carry that you can combine/integrate with your systems or projects.

Stainless Steel Vacuum Chambers
Stainless Steel Vacuum Chambers are vacuum chambers made from stainless steel. The advantages of a Stainless Steel Vacuum Chamber are High Vacuum and a Wide Temperature Range of applications.
Altitude Simulation Controller Instruments
An Altitude simulation Controller is type of vacuum controller that simulates a certain altitude because altitude can be derived from vacuum levels. An altitude simulation controller will enable you to hold your vacuum level at a certain altitude equivalent of testing, run an altitude vs time profile, or rate of change of altitude vs. time. Further options include a vacuum pump relay that will control when the vacuum pump turns on and a vacuum valve.
Our Work: Chamber for Vacuum Extrusion System
This is a custom acrylic vacuum chamber build for a high volume manufacturer of parts which are fabricated using vacuum extrusion techniques. The challenge was to build a vacuum chamber system which mated on two perpendicular surfaces; on the bottom and on the rear of the chamber. This was accomplished by incorporating a double gasket mechanism on the bottom and incorporating a clamping mechanism on the rear.

How do you know that you have a good part during your leak test? In order to understand your leak test, you must first understand the Test Decay Curve and what it tells you about your test specimen. There is a certain way that a test specimen behaves during the leak test.
