This is a table top 16-inch cube front-loading, table-top, aerospace vacuum chamber with pump system. There are a total of 12 liquid/gas feedthroughs that allow for the running of gas or liquid into the vacuum chamber are a closed loop without compromising the vacuum performance. A quantity of two fully removable shelves allows for the simultaneous space thermal management testing of 3 units. Each unit under test has a heating and a cooling loop that is run into the chamber during test. The heating and cooling are varied and the electronic satellite components are tested and pushed to its limit. As a standard each on of our chambers comes with two valves and a vacuum gauge. The system requirements called for a rotary vane vacuum pump capable of a maximum vacuum of 2.5 Torr. Roughly half the atmospheric pressure of Mars.
